We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. team. As part of the AWS Cryptography team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of millions of customers' data through cutting-edge cryptography solutions. Join us in developing and maintaining secure, open-source encryption tools and libraries that empower our customers to protect their sensitive workloads.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, from design to implementation.
- Operate globally distributed servers and customers, delivering secure and reliable services.
- Build foundational libraries using C and Rust, contributing to the security and integrity of AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Proven track record in design, architecture, and leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
