Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's team in Troy Hospital. As the Senior Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care and support for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, ensuring quality patient-centered care under limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform hemodynamic recordings and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance checks on equipment.
- Participate in training and potentially provide guidance to junior techs.
Requirements
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent training.
- Over 3 years of Interventional experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Registered RCIS/RCES/RT (depending on specialty).
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
- Must be able to respond on-call as required.
