Shop Service Technician CDL Class B required

Job Description

We are seeking a Shop Service Technician with a CDL Class B license to join Wayne Brothers Companies in Davidson, NC. The position offers a salaried, exempt pay structure.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner and comply with WBC safety requirements.
• Carry out routine maintenance services and repairs for on-road vehicles, small tools, and light/heavy equipment.
• Inspect equipment to determine service/repair needs and utilize analyzers, gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices for testing components/systems.
• Document service records and be available for emergency calls outside normal business hours.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and automotive maintenance training/experience are required.
• Valid driver's license, OSHA - 10-Hour Certification, and relevant equipment certifications are also required.
• Problem-solving, trouble-shooting, and mechanical reasoning skills are necessary.

Working Conditions

• Indoors and outdoors, with seasonal temperatures and loud noise.
• Forty to fifty-hour work week and infrequent out-of-town travel.

Physical Demands

• Lifting, carrying, or moving up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, frequent climbing, and manual dexterity are part of the job requirements.
