Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Skilled Trades Instructor with expertise in Electrical trades to join our team at Home Builders Institute Inc. As an Instructor, you will play a crucial role in training and educating individuals in the construction industry, empowering them with the necessary skills to build successful careers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training and classroom instruction in proper techniques and safety measures for electrical trades.
• Develop and enhance curriculum materials to support effective learning outcomes.
• Coordinate practical training activities, including on-site and community-based projects.
• Mentor and guide students in skill development, recruitment, and employability training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with expertise in Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, or HVAC trades.
• Ability to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to inspire and lead future trades professionals.
• Compliance with safety protocols, including OSHA 10 standards.

Working Conditions

This role involves usual office-type conditions with some physical requirements like walking and standing. Nominal travel may be required.
