Slumberland Furniture is currently seeking a detail-oriented Senior Merchandise Handler to join our team. This full-time position involves efficiently managing merchandise movement, ensuring inventory accuracy, and providing exemplary customer service. Primary Objective & Scope of Position

This role focuses on storing, moving, and distributing products, overseeing merchandise organization, and providing guidance to team members. The ideal candidate will lead by example, prioritize safety, and maintain an organized facility.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities

• Manage merchandise movement to optimize space efficiency.
• Handle incoming and outgoing product transactions with precision.
• Utilize POS systems for inventory management.
• Conduct basic product assembly and quality checks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and address inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (or in progress).
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware.
• Valid driver's license and computer literacy.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
