Whether you are a certified substitute paraeducator or someone looking to kickstart a career in education with no prior teaching experience, we have immediate openings waiting for you. A substitute paraeducator plays a crucial role in supporting classroom teachers to provide additional help to students with special needs, fostering their academic and personal development. From assisting with classroom curriculum to providing one-on-one support, you will be making a significant impact on students' lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional support to individual students and small groups.
- Assist teachers in managing the classroom and supervising students.
- Help with setting up equipment and preparing materials.
- Supervise students in various settings within the school environment.
- Attend to students' academic, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Support students with special needs according to their IEPs/504 Plans.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by teachers and school administration.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficient in English language skills (speaking, reading, writing).
Pay: $13.50 per hour.
