Job Title: Surgical Assistant

Role and Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during procedures by performing tasks like tissue retraction, IV lines, and documentation.
- Verify patient identities and operative sites.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout surgeries.
- Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Monitor patient status during operations.
- Complete patient clinical narratives and other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- BLS certification required, DAANCE certification preferred.
- At least one year of related experience preferred.
- Licensed dental assistant and radiology certification are advantageous.
Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer knowledge.

- Good judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
