Survey Instrument Repair Technician & Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Survey Instrument Repair Technician & Operations Assistant to join our team in Nashville at Duncan-Parnell Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for servicing optical and GNSS equipment, managing repairs, calibrations, and supporting operations at our branch. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, testing, repair, calibration, and cleaning of customer's survey equipment.
• Create and process service work orders for repairs.
• Assist in maintaining survey equipment rentals.
• Support Branch Manager with order fulfillment, showroom display, and inventory management.
• Stay updated on training and authorizations for product configurations and testing.
• Engage in customer relations and assist with new orders and invoicing.
• Maintain neat and organized work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge of electronics/survey equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in land surveying or construction industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows 10 OS and strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and pay attention to detail.
