About the Role
As a Technician, Field Service IV-Temp at Canon Solutions America, Inc., you will provide operational, maintenance, and networking support for customers, demonstrating extensive product and customer knowledge. Working closely with Service Managers and other Technicians, you will offer top-level support with expert technical skills on Canon supported products in a 24x7 environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, software, network, and system failures following established procedures.
- Service and repair designated equipment per Canon standards and specifications.
- Prepare reports on product failure trends and service issues for analysis.
- Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate on-site maintenance.
- Maintain technical information, reports, and Canon property properly.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience with 4-6 years related experience.
- Expertise in technical support of Canon products, including toner and inkjet based products.
- Ability to meet or exceed performance standards for technical quality and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 environment, perform shift work, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and engage in mobile activities more than 50% of the time.
