Truss Designer (on-site)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Truss Designer to join Better Living Inc. As an on-site Roof & Floor Truss and/or Wall Panel Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and optimized truss placement layouts according to company guidelines. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret architectural prints effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design roof and floor trusses using MiTek software.
• Create truss placement layouts based on architectural prints.
• Specify necessary hardware and maintain job tracking documentation.
• Provide sales and customer support as needed.
• Attend supervisor-requested meetings.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with MiTek Management program.
• Minimum 4-5 years of building component design experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
