Job Description
Rutland Regional Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound imaging examinations and procedures under the supervision of a radiologist or department leadership. In addition to providing excellent customer service, you will be expected to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, while utilizing RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording and dissemination of patient results.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program if hired after 2002.
Experience and Certifications
- Prior experience or training in general abdominal ultrasound, OB/GYN, pelvic, transvaginal, breast, carotid/venous studies, and small parts.
- ARDMS certified or ARDMS eligible (must become certified within the first year of employment).
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
- Must obtain 30 ECE credits for re-certification.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to provide care to patients of all age groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications.
- Willingness to participate in weekend and call coverage rotations.
Salary
Pay Range: $29.85 - $44.13 per hour
