Unit Manager -- LPN

Job Description

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a talented Unit Manager - LPN with a minimum of 5 years of experience in LTC/SNF. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and cost-effective healthcare, ensuring positive clinical outcomes, patient/family, and employee satisfaction on your assigned unit.

Position Highlights

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain nursing coverage and provide safe care.
• Provide guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff.
• Identify educational needs and develop training programs with the Nurse Educator.
• Oversee medication management and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide direct patient care to maintain skills and support unit nurses.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
• Minimum one-year nurse management experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
