Quad's Direct Marketing - a Quad subsidiary that offers concept-through-delivery services, including just-in-time marketing strategies, creative development, and comprehensive print production and distribution, all driven by data, is seeking a Variable Imaging Programmer Intern.
Responsibilities
- Support accounts or projects by evaluating individual project or client needs, prioritizing, tracking, and maintaining records of cost and schedules.
- Analyze customer data, instructions, artwork, and integrate using variable composition software.
- Review the quality of the final product before release to the client and create finished output and supporting documentation for manufacturing.
- Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and changes within the industry, as well as follow established company and department QC and SOP standards.
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in a job-related major such as Computer Science, Media Arts and Game Design, or Media Communications.
- Proficiency with PC and Mac, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with Variable Data Print (VDP) software and basic understanding of if-then-else relational logic, scripting, and object-oriented programming languages.
- Mathematical and effective communication skills required.
