Vet Cadets Teacher

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Vet Cadets Teacher to join our team at the Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon Inc. As a member of our teaching staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the education and development of young children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Essential Functions

• Monitor and respond to activities in the classroom and play areas.
• Implement engaging activities and lesson plans for preschool-aged children.
• Create a stimulating environment to facilitate learning and growth.
• Provide individualized attention and support to promote holistic development.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques for a positive learning atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate records of each child's progress.

Education & Experience

• Completion of early childhood education training or relevant teaching experience.
• Knowledge and skills in child development principles.
• Ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for children.

Physical Demands

• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods.
• Work in various environmental and social conditions.
