Salary: Competitive pay starting at $17 per hour

Primary Objective & Scope of Position:

This position involves performing various duties related to merchandise movement, including storing, moving, and distributing products. In addition, the role requires leading by example and providing training to other employees.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Merchandise Movement:
• Efficiently move and organize merchandise within storage locations.
• Handle the movement of merchandise to and from the show floor for storage, delivery, or customer pickup.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system to manage inventory flow.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Receive incoming merchandise by unloading, identifying, inspecting, tagging, and recording. Prepare outgoing merchandise by unpacking, inspecting, assembling, and wrapping for shipment.
• Training:
• Lead by example and provide training to fellow employees.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by resolving discrepancies and keeping management informed.
• Other:
• Adhere to safety policies and practices while handling equipment and merchandise.
• Assist in ground and building maintenance tasks.
• Follow company guidelines, expectations, and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of tools, hardware components, and product assembly.
• A valid driver's license.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with POS systems is desirable.
