Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Wellness Services Specialist to join our team at Marimn Health. As a Wellness Services Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and safe environment for our members and patients. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, monitoring recreation facilities, and promoting various fitness, aquatics, and cultural programs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive peer relationship and perform as a team player.
  • Plan and prioritize to maintain a time and attendance record that complies with company policy.
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service assistance by delivering knowledgeable and appropriate information to customers.
  • Work independently in a very detail-oriented manner and meet deadlines.
  • Be a positive role model to all members/patients.
  • Answer the telephone with professional etiquette, accepting coaching on needed skills to perform tasks.
  • Actively rotate in assignments to monitor the pool deck, fitness floor, gym, and front desk coverage.
  • Monitor activities to ensure facility policies and regulations are followed and enforced while ensuring member safety.
  • Handle point-of-sale transactions, billing payment drop-offs, and collect and record fees for snack/juice bar and pro shop.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current lifeguard certification, previous instructor experience, and/or current CPR certification and/or Fitness Certification preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency and demonstrated attendance history.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must meet the physical demands outlined, including lifting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and rescue assist.
