Yard Jockey Job

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Yard Jockey to join our team at Wright Media. This position offers competitive pay of up to $26/hour, based on experience, with full-time positions available, including overnight shifts. You will be responsible for yard operations and ensuring the timely movement of trailers and containers.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks to move trailers and containers within the facility.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times.
• Coordinate with other team members to maintain efficient yard operations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on yard equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Reside within 40 miles of Woodlawn, OH, with reliable daily transportation to and from the yard.
• Non-CDL holders require a minimum of 2 years of yard experience in the last 36 months.
• Class A CDL holders with varying experience levels need verified yard experience based on their tenure.

Benefits

• $26 per hour with 2+ years of experience; $22 per hour with 2 years of experience or less.
