Caregiver Lead

Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is looking for a dedicated Caregiver Lead to join our team. As a Lead Care Manager, you will oversee and support a group of Care Managers in providing personalized care and services to our residents in accordance with their individualized Service Plans. This role requires a commitment to quality care, flexibility in work schedule, and a compassionate approach to resident well-being.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide supervisory support by managing shift logistics and scheduling.
• Support team members in delivering Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services.
• Ensure accurate documentation of care provided and compliance with policies.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.

Other Responsibilities:

• Cross-train and administer medications if needed.
• Participate in onboarding and training of new team members.
• Contribute to resident well-being through observations and communication.
• Handle conflicts and provide feedback for performance reviews.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in senior care preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in challenging situations.
• Proficiency in computer skills and relevant certifications.
