Critical Infrastructure Manager I

Job Description

We are looking for a Critical Infrastructure Manager I to oversee the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment in our data center(s). The role involves ensuring a mission-critical uptime of 99.999% or higher and serving as a technical resource for various teams within the organization. Responsibilities include executing data center operations, managing vendor relationships, and driving towards operational excellence goals.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• 24x7 facility on-call responsibility.
• Execute all aspects of data center operations with a focus on achieving uptime and compliance.
• Assist in cross-market efforts to improve Regional Operations.
• Read and interpret technical documents, and drive change toward operational excellence.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and installation of power for customer orders.
• Prepare reports on facility performance and customer utilization.
• Create detailed Method of Procedures (MOP) & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Provide training for operations staff and monitor facility equipment.
• Conduct data center tours and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive management and technical training.
• Experience in root cause analysis and critical infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data center operations.
• Military or trade experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical certifications.
• Experience in data centers with a focus on building and equipment operation.
• Management and technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Sit, walk, stand, and lift as needed.
• Moderate keyboard usage and occasional travel.
