Environmental Technician

Job Description

We are currently hiring for the position of Environmental Technician at Goucher College. This role involves performing cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of college buildings under the supervision of the Associate Director and Environmental Services Supervisors. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning offices, classrooms, restrooms, dusting furniture, sanitizing restrooms, handling trash and recyclable materials, snow removal, and assisting with maintenance checks. The position requires a combination of training, experience, and educational background related to custodial cleaning, with a preference for candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent. Three years of custodial experience is necessary, with floor care training being a plus. The starting salary for this position is $15.27 per hour.
