The Highway Design Technician position is currently open in Wichita, KS, Lawrence, KS, or Topeka, KS.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software to create highway concept exhibits and construction plans.
• Collaborate with Team Lead, Project Managers, and Engineers on drafting tasks.
• Organize project information efficiently and maintain drafting standards.
• Handle multiple project assignments and review project submittals.

Job Requirements:

• Training in CAD software with third-party certification as a plus.
• Familiarity with Microstation/Bentley design products is advantageous.
• Ability to read plans, manage time effectively, and communicate well.
• Understanding of field surveys and electronic data processing is beneficial.
