Project Manager (Environmental Industry)

Job Description

HEPACO Inc, a leading environmental and emergency services company, is looking for a Project Manager to join its Jacksonville branch. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully completing projects in the region, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. In addition to project management duties, you will actively participate in business development activities, collaborate with the Territory Account Manager and Branch Manager, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires effective leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage resources efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project planning, organization, quality control, and resource management.
• Participate in project bidding, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
• Collaborate with the sales team on business development activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Lead and mentor team members, handle personnel matters, and participate in recruiting.
• Provide project cost and financial reporting as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and prior experience with Hyland OnBase (a plus).
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances, safety certifications, and pass physical examinations.
• Ability to work in various environments, including office and project sites, with occasional heavy lifting.
