Job Purpose

As a Medical Assistant at Quick Care Med P L, you will play a vital role in providing stellar customer service, conducting patient triage, assisting with patient care, and performing routine medical procedures in an outpatient clinical setting. We are willing to train an enthusiastic individual who is the right fit for our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Stay informed on office policies and procedures.
• Take patient histories and update charts.
• Contact patients with normal test results.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and exam rooms.
• Perform various routine procedures under established protocols, including EKG, immunizations, ear lavage, sterile dressing changes, nebulizer treatments, and suture removal.
• Administer immunizations and therapeutic injections.
• Keep exam rooms stocked with necessary supplies.
• Practice safety and infection control measures.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Preferred certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical training.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Understanding of business office procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Professional phone etiquette and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with providers and patients.
• Strong time management and problems solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity.

Working Conditions:

This position primarily involves extended hours in a seated or standing position.
