Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Network and Systems Administrator to join our global IT team at Rand Technology, LLC. As a vital member of our technology department, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency, security, and reliability of our systems, networks, and technology. Working closely with the CIO, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions while keeping our operations running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain efficient, reliable, and secure network services and cybersecurity practices across all Rand Technology sites.
  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions to meet current and future organizational needs.
  • Manage internet and intranet network services, wired and wireless, including underlying hardware and software.
  • Conduct monitoring, fault notification, and management tasks, analyzing reports and proposing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain network operational procedures to exceed business expectations and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Stay informed on security threats and vulnerabilities, working with the IT team to enhance network security.
  • Manage malware prevention systems, email security, and intrusion prevention practices.
  • Participate in incident response and provide expertise during technology emergencies.
  • Research and propose innovative technologies to enhance customer and client experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in firewall and network design, SD-WAN, OSPF routing.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Public cloud, Datacenter, and Hybrid Cloud Delivery Models.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management, MFA, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Sophos, or Sonicwall technologies.
  • Proficiency in Site-to-Site IPsec VPN management, SIP, QOS, and Differentiated Services.
  • Ability to be on-site at Irvine Corporate HQ four days a week.
