Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. As a key member of the maintenance department, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machine failures, thereby minimizing downtime efficiently. Your role will involve reviewing and analyzing data to forecast pending failures, using advanced technologies such as infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic tools for data collection.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures to reduce downtime.
• Predict pending failures through data analysis.
• Utilize advanced technologies for data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Recommend immediate shutdown of equipment for repairs to prevent catastrophic failure.
• Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime in collaboration with Plant Operations.
• Initiate plans to enhance the lifespan of manufacturing equipment.
• Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Military experience is a plus.
• Understanding of root cause failure analysis process.
• Willingness to obtain Pdm-related certifications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
