Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will utilize reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures, predict pending issues, and work proactively to minimize downtime effectively. Your responsibilities will include daily data collection, analysis, and reporting, as well as collaborating with maintenance planners to schedule repairs optimally.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failure by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Recommend shutdown of equipment for immediate repairs when necessary.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis and provide support to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Initiate plans to improve and extend the life of manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5+ years of experience in reliability technology.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis process.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
