Project Manager- Environmental (Norfolk, VA)

Job Description

HEPACO Inc., a leading environmental and emergency services company, is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join the team at our Norfolk, VA branch. As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in organizing and successfully completing projects in the region, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Additionally, you will be involved in business development activities and work closely with our Territory Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project activities from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
• Participate in project bidding and contracting processes, providing insights to deliver upon client expectations.
• Collaborate with the sales team on business development initiatives.
• Lead and mentor team members, overseeing project portfolios and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, manage expenses, and provide accurate financial reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience with project management responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite; prior experience with Hyland OnBase is a plus.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and certifications.
