Job Description
We are excited to announce a rewarding opportunity for a Full-Time Radiology Technologist position within Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. You will be responsible for ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while upholding principles of radiation protection and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow policies in case of malfunctions.
- Provide procedural information/education to patients and families.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Registration within 6 months of hire date.
- Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
