Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. This is a full-time position with afternoon shifts available. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. Your role will involve monitoring patients, performing imaging procedures, and following radiation protection principles to prioritize patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire and document accurate patient histories.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and ensure compliance with quality control.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and their families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with the ARRT within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
