Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU - PRN

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Denver Health. As an RN in the NICU, you will provide high-quality care to newborns and support their families during their time in our state-of-the-art 26-bed unit. You will be part of an interprofessional team dedicated to excellence in healthcare consumer safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities to identify health or safety problems.
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports, monitor patient condition, and vital signs.
• Develop and modify patient care plans based on assessments.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Administer nursing care, medication, and ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing, BLS/CPR certification, and RN license required.
• Knowledge of professional nursing practices, growth and development principles, and patient care equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, handle emergencies, and use medical software.
