Senior Buyer

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Buyer to join Premier Marine's team. The role involves planning and procuring materials, supplies, and services while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met. The position includes managing material acquisition, inventory reconciliation, and minimizing obsolescence, along with collaborating with various departments and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Order materials based on sales requirements and resolve shipping/billing issues.
• Optimize material costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Analyze key supply chain factors to maintain appropriate safety stock levels.
• Drive collaboration with suppliers and internal customers to enhance performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel and MRP/ERP systems like EPICOR.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Experience in purchasing, production planning, or inventory management.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field; APICS certification preferred.

Physical Requirements
