Job Description

Flexential is seeking an experienced Account Executive - Colocation to join our team. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will play a crucial role in presenting and selling Flexential colocation products and services to potential customers within selected data centers while contributing significantly to the company's strategic objectives. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, designing solutions, negotiating, and closing deals, all while providing valuable input on market trends and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote and sell colocation products and services to prospective customers.
  • Generate leads and expand sales within targeted regions.
  • Maintain sales activity to meet forecasted pipeline needs.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas by closing deals effectively.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to support sales efforts.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for opportunity management.
  • Handle contracting processes for Master Service Agreements.
  • Engage in meetings with business prospects.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with networking partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in sales process management with C-suite and departmental staff.
  • Success in team selling environments with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and MS Office tools.
  • Self-motivated with adaptability to evolving markets.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Excel, Word, and contact management software.
  • Positive and determined attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Base Pay Range: Estimated salary range of $62,000 - $85,000 annually. Actual pay depends on experience and qualifications.

Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
