Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure to oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in our data center(s). The role involves ensuring mission-critical uptime of 99.999% or higher, leading a team of engineers and managers, and driving cross-functional market initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Manage 24x7 facility operations to achieve 99.999% uptime.
• Coach and mentor the team on best practices.
• Lead efforts to improve operational effectiveness across markets.
• Identify and implement operational and financial efficiencies.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and facility maintenance.
• Create and maintain operational procedures and documentation.
• Conduct customer tours and configure equipment monitoring/alerting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a management role with direct reports.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications.
• 5+ years in data center operations.
• 3+ years in a management role with direct reports.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and lift heavy objects.
• Travel may be required.

Base Pay Range

• Annual salary range: $112,700 - $145,400.
