Athletic Trainer

Job Description
ATI Physical Therapy, a leading provider of athletic training services in the United States, is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our exceptional Sports Medicine Team. As an Outreach Athletic Trainer, you will provide skilled care to affiliate athletes, including preventive interventions, injury assessment and triage, and return-to-sport readiness. You will work with external affiliate Athletic Directors, Coaches, and Physicians, as well as collaborate with ATI's internal Sports Medicine and clinic teammates to ensure outstanding care for athletes.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite comprehensive and coordinated care for athletes, including preventative solutions/interventions, sport enhancement training, and sideline support to triage and assess potential injuries.
- Assist and monitor the rehabilitation treatment plan specific to the athlete and injury.
- Independently manage the relationship with the affiliate by maintaining a positive work atmosphere and effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate in-clinic rehabilitation transitions with ATI's PT/OT services where applicable to facilitate safe and timely return to sport.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, Master's Degree preferred.
- State licensure and BOC certification or eligibility to sit for the BOC exam.
- Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
- Exceptional communication and coachability preferred.
