Bakery Manager

Job Description

Kennie's Market Inc is currently looking for a dedicated Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department in delivering top-quality products and excellent customer service to our patrons. As the Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the department's success in meeting sales and profit goals while maintaining high standards of freshness, quality, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Achieve department goals for sales and gross profit.
• Manage supply, payroll expenses, inventory, and waste effectively.
• Ensure accurate accounting procedures and pricing for products.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Oversee stocking, display, and rotation of bakery products to enhance customer appeal.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Bakery Specialist on merchandising, planning, and sales trends.
• Ensure department cleanliness and adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Supervise Bakery Department employees, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience.
• Strong communication and math skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
