Job Description

Mentor Community Services, a member of Sevita, is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will have the rewarding opportunity to help people with developmental disabilities live well by providing personalized support and assistance in their home and community environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Assist with personal hygiene and provide support for behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants become active members of the community and engage in activities they enjoy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Documented 5 years of caregiving experience can be substituted for education.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
