Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Caregiver to join our team at Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to our residents in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care Programs. Your responsibilities will include aiding residents with activities of daily living, implementing care plans, and ensuring residents maintain their quality of life with dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential assistance to residents, including medication reminders, grooming, and dressing.
- Follow resident care schedules and document all provided services.
- Offer emotional and social support to residents while respecting their independence.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for residents and adhere to all facility policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification as a CNA, STNA, GNA, or equivalent as per state regulations.
- Previous experience with elderly adults is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
