Counter Sales

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Counter Sales professional to join our team at Badger Building Center. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting them with their product needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and provide information on various products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Process customer orders and payments efficiently.
• Stock and organize shelves with incoming merchandise.
• Assist with inventories, system updates, and showroom maintenance.
• Handle customer inquiries, challenges, and provide effective solutions.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in building materials is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move around the store to assist customers and lift objects up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent hand/finger usage and standing/walking.

Compensation

Starting wages range from $11.8 to $18.8 per hour.
