Critical Infrastructure Engineer III

Job Description

We are looking for a Critical Infrastructure Engineer III to join our team at Flexential. This role involves performing advanced maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment in data centers to ensure uptime of 99.999% or higher. You will play a key role in enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiencies across the company, including vendor management and documentation control.

Key Responsibilities

• 24x7 facility on-call responsibility.
• Maintain mission-critical equipment for optimal uptime.
• Vendor relationship management and technical document interpretation.
• Lead operational excellence efforts and disaster recovery exercises.
• Comply with AHJ requirements and maintain change windows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data center experience.
• Experience in root cause analysis, building automation, and critical infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data center operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical certifications preferred.
• 8+ years of data center experience with equipment operation emphasis.
• Strong technical depth and complexity.
