Job Description
Discover extraordinary opportunities at Cooper University Health Care. We are seeking a talented and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will perform CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by the Radiologist, operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department, and maintain the work area by reporting maintenance issues for equipment and monitoring supplies and deficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Performs CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by the Radiologist.
- Operates the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department.
- Maintains work area by reporting maintenance issues for equipment and monitoring supplies and deficiencies.
- Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies and utilizes appropriate PPE.
- Maintains licensure and BLS and participates in departmental training offered.
- Demonstrates courteous behavior and positive attitude through polite communication with all co-workers and customers.
Experience Required
General, Trauma and ED experience. Experience with Pediatrics and Cardiac is preferred but not necessary.
Education Requirements
Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program. Must be enrolled in a qualified Computed Tomography program.
License/Certification Requirements
Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support). Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Current NJ-RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist).
Special Requirements
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
