Job Description

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a dedicated and dynamic CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing CAT Scan procedures, operating the CT scanner during IR procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities

  • Perform CAT Scan procedures following established protocols.
  • Operate the CT scanner during IR procedures and maintain the CT department.
  • Maintain licensure and BLS, participate in clinical activities, and uphold good customer service.
  • Adhere to infection prevention policies and departmental procedures.
  • Participate in on-call and holiday requirements.

Experience Required

Experience in general, trauma, and ED settings. Experience with pediatrics and cardiac is preferred but not necessary.

Education Requirements

Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technologist program and enrolled in a qualified computed tomography program.

License/Certification Requirements

Current BLS certification, ARRT license, and NJ-RADTECH license.

Special Requirements

ARRT board certification in computed tomography is preferred. If not certified at the time of hire, certification within 12 months of employment is required.
