Dairy and Frozen Manager

Job Description

Kennie's Market's Inc is seeking a dedicated Dairy and Frozen Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Dairy and Frozen Departments. As the manager, you will be responsible for managing product levels, ensuring top quality products and customer service, and driving profitability in the department.

Responsibilities

• Achieve set goals for department sales and gross profit.
• Maintain control over supply and payroll expenses, inventory, and waste.
• Ensure correct accounting procedures are followed, including invoices, transfers, and inventories.
• Order sufficient quantities of products at the right prices.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Direct stocking, display, and rotation of Dairy / Frozen products for optimal presentation.
• Work with Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager on merchandising, planning, and improvements.
• Maintain a sanitary department and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Perform proper and preventive maintenance on department equipment.
• Observe safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with other departments on sales promotions.
• Supervise 5-10 employees, including hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of related experience.
• Strong communication and mathematical skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
