Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I at Flexential is a vital member of the team, providing physical and Level II technical support to customers in a 24x7x365 environment. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring a professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of facility and customer issues.
- Maintain professionalism while executing data center duties.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using the ticketing system.
- Adhere to Flexential support and data center policies and procedures.
- Assist with physical and logical installations of Flexential services.
- Conduct facilities rounds and manage inbound and outbound shipments.
- Operate and manage the badge access security system.
- Collaborate with the Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in an IT support environment preferred.
- Relevant certifications like Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCP, or MCSA a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and in cold environments.
- Capacity to handle heavy objects and install cabling.
Hourly Pay Range
The hourly pay for this position ranges from $20.30 to $23.81, subject to candidate experience and qualifications.
