We are looking for a Data Center Operations Technician I to join Flexential, a market-based position that provides physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, following data center policies, and ensuring a professional representation of Flexential during interactions. The position requires flexibility to support 24/7 operations and a commitment to maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of facility and customer issues.
• Ensure adherence to data center policies and procedures.
• Facilitate local access and escort for vendors and carriers.
• Assist with physical and logical installations of services.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the data center.
• Perform facilities rounds and escalate relevant information.
• Handle shipping/receiving tasks.
• Operate badge access security systems.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer service excellence.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Operating Systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of IT support environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+, or CCNA are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and in cold environments.
• Capability to lift heavy objects and install cabling.

Hourly Pay Range

The hourly pay range for this position is estimated to be from $19.33 to $22.67, subject to candidate's experience and qualifications.
