Data Center Operations Technician I

Join Flexential as a Data Center Operations Technician I, a vital role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to our customers. This position demands a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Provide timely resolution and/or escalation of Facility and customer issues.
  • Maintain professionalism during data center duties.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and document them using our ticketing system.
  • Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies.
  • Assist with physical and logical installations of services.
  • Keep the Data Center and surrounding areas clean.
  • Perform Facilities Rounds and escalate important information.
  • Handle shipping/receiving for Customer and Flexential Deliveries.
  • Operate and manage Badge Access Security System.
  • Support 24/7 operations with flexibility in shift work.
  • Assist the Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Passion for exceptional customer experience.
  • Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Desirable: 1 year of experience in IT support.
  • AA, BS, or High School Diploma.
  • Network +, Security +, or CCNA desired.
  • Microsoft MCP or MCSA preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
  • Work in cold environments and lift heavy objects.
  • Install cabling and operate pallet jacks.

Hourly Pay Range

  • The estimated hourly pay range is $18.38 - $21.55, subject to candidate's experience and qualifications.
