Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. Operating 24x7x365, you will troubleshoot technical issues, maintain facility infrastructure, and uphold operational standards to ensure efficient data center operations. The role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of facility and customer issues.
• Follow Flexential's support and data center policies and processes.
• Assist with installations and maintain cleanliness of the data center.
• Operate badge access security systems and support critical infrastructure management.
• Process inbound and outbound shipping/receiving.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in an IT support environment.
• Strong understanding of Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
• Network +, Security +, or CCNA certifications desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Physical ability to climb ladders, work aloft, and lift heavy objects.
• Experience with cabling installations.
