Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a crucial role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to our customers and resources. This 24x7x365 position requires expertise in Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, PC troubleshooting, and customer interaction. We are looking for a candidate who can maintain professionalism, resolve technical issues promptly, and adhere to data center policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Maintain a professional attitude while performing data center duties.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential's ticketing system.
- Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist with physical and logical installations of Flexential services.
- Ensure cleanliness and security of the Data Center.
- Process inbound and outbound shipping/receiving for customers and deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for delivering a great customer experience.
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Self-starter with strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Network+ or CCNA certification desired.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and work in cold environments.
- Capable of maneuvering pallet jacks and lifting heavy objects.
- Proficiency in pulling and installing cabling.
Hourly Pay Range
The hourly pay range for this position varies based on experience, location, and qualifications, estimated to be $19.33 - $22.67.
