Job Description

Transdev is looking for Diesel Fleet Technicians to join our team. As a Fleet Technician, you will work at a state-of-the-art maintenance facility and help maintain buses utilized to deliver service to Delta employees at MSP Airport and city bus services across the Twin Cities. This role offers competitive wages and benefits and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Walk-ins are welcome from 8:00 – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, at 3400 Highway 13 W, Burnsville, MN 55337.

Fleet Maintenance Mechanic Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for customers
  • Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, and other repairs
  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately; maintain records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used
  • Complete preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license required; company training to help you get your CDL will be provided
  • 1+ years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience
  • Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set
  • ASE certifications preferred; must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided)
