Job Description

Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our mission-driven team. As a DSP, you will provide assistance and strategies to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation and support for community outings, medical appointments, and shopping.
• Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration.
• Offer guidance on a range of developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
• Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Work with various needs, including developmental, behavioral, and mental health supports.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 18 years of age with a valid driver's license, access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance, and successful background checks clearance.
