Job Description
We are looking for a Field Solutions Engineer II to join our team at Flexential. In this role, you will focus on opportunities in Hybrid/Cloud, Managed Services, and Large Retail Colocation. As a key member of the team, you will provide pre-sales technical expertise to drive new business pursuits and support the design and implementation of complex solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Develop Regional Partner relationships and provide technical enablement.
- Architect Cloud and Managed Services solutions for new customers, including Colocation.
- Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends.
- Create comprehensive documentation for implementation purposes.
- Design and present complex solutions to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent.
- 6-9 years of experience in relevant sales or consulting.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical proficiency with cloud-based applications and infrastructure technologies.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and IT security best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated success and contribution to the managed IT services sector.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an office environment and travel as needed.
- Availability for after-hours networking and customer interactions.

Base Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000 per year (actual salary dependent on experience and qualifications).
Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
